Cardinals nearly upset the champ! Our girls battled hard all night, with Tiera leading the charge with 11 points and 7 rebounds, and the Espinosa sisters tag-teamed for 16. We shut down the Lancers in the 2nd (19-1!), but they found their fire in the 4th with key threes in the final stretch. We are proud of our fight! Keep showing that championship hunger!
“My girls are showing they are hungry and are picking up where last year’s historic team left off,” Cardinals coach Todd Trowbridge said. “It is a privilege to coach this team. They give everything in every game. We came to play tonight, and we almost pulled off the win.”
