🏃‍♂✨ Unbelievable achievements at the 36th annual CIF State Cross Country Championships! 🌟 Santa Cruz High School’s cross country team showcased their unwavering dedication and talent, led by the phenomenal Eli Fitchen-Young, who clinched 5th place in the State across all divisions! 🏅 Eli’s record-breaking run at Woodward Park, completing the 5,000-meter course in a mind-blowing personal best of 14:49.5, is nothing short of extraordinary—shaving an incredible 40 seconds off his previous time! 🚀 The entire team’s hard work paid off, with Kees van der Meer, Emiliano Villarreal, Alan Lee, and freshman Owen Fitchen-Young delivering outstanding performances, securing victories over formidable opponents like Scotts Valley High and Archbishop Riordan High. 🥇💪

A special shoutout to Coach Brock and Coach Mari for their incredible dedication and guidance.
